This six-hour event will introduce attendees to the role
of asthma educators in working with families to get control
of a patient’s asthma. Nurses, respiratory therapists, and
pharmacists in community settings with high prevalence of
asthma are encouraged to attend. Following the seminar,
more information will be provided about grants to help
continue training as an asthma educator leading to certification.
This course is approved for 4 contact hours. The provider
approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
Provider Number 13605.
